Our mission...

To put it simply the goal of Allegheny Alligator is to help educate the public about our states incredible diversity of wildlife and its importance through the art of photography and film making. Pretty much all Pennsylvanians know of animals like whitetail deer, black bears, and grey squirrels but most are completely unaware of the Allegheny burbot, the bluespotted salamander, or eastern hellbender all of which face an uncertain future without the help of people that care. Its our hope that our visual content will help raise awareness of these creatures and those like them and inspire not only people around PA but people from all around the world to take an interest in them and their conservation. If we can reach even one person that ends up trying to make a difference for these animals and our wild places this mission will be a complete success.
